My Story
Introducing me Ernie Martin! I have lived in Belize full time since 2014, and became a Permanent Resident of Belize in 2018 and am now a proud Belizean! having received
my Nationality on May 29th, 2025. As a La Ruta Maya paddler and Surfski enthusiast and one of the very few to paddle the 180 miles from San Ignacio to Belize City unsupported and solo, camping along the way, as well as paddling from the mainland to San Pedro, we learn nature is our teacher. Currently I keep homes in San Pedro and San Ignacio and love both areas and look forward to.sharing my deep love of Belize with you. If your destination is South to Dangriga, Hopkins, Placencia and Punta Gorda my knowledge of those areas too is from deep interest and first hand experience. I am fluent in English, Kriol and French with a working knowledge of Garifuna and Spanish. There is so much to learn here and it will be my honour and privilege to share my experiences while getting you to your destination safely and on time!
